Commercial Solar PV Installation at a Farm near Solihull

Solihull, West Midlands Commercial / Agricultural Commercial Solar PV

On-site generation

The large roof-mounted array provides renewable electricity for use directly across the farm and its electrical loads.

Productive roof space

Existing agricultural buildings provide extensive roof area for solar generation without requiring additional land.

Three-phase integration

The Solis inverter integrates the PV installation with the farm’s existing three-phase electrical infrastructure.

Commercial-scale system

A 98-panel installation provides a substantial renewable generation asset designed around the requirements of the site.

The installation

A substantial three-phase agricultural solar installation.

NS Booth installed a 98-panel solar PV system across two agricultural roof areas at a farm near Solihull. The array is divided across seven individually isolated PV strings feeding a Solis three-phase commercial inverter. The installation makes productive use of extensive agricultural roof space while integrating the solar generation with the site’s existing three-phase electrical infrastructure.

With 98 modules distributed across the available roof areas, the project demonstrates how farms and other commercial premises can use large roof spaces for on-site renewable electricity generation. The seven-string arrangement, dedicated DC isolation and three-phase inverter provide a professionally engineered connection between the roof-mounted arrays and the site electrical system.
