Case Study

Three-Phase Solar, Battery & Heat Pump Installation

Kenilworth, Warwickshire Residential Solar PV, Battery Storage & Air Source Heat Pump

High solar generation

A substantial roof-mounted solar array provides significant on-site renewable electricity generation.

Greater energy independence

Battery storage allows more solar generation to be retained for use when the property needs it.

Three-phase energy management

The Solis hybrid inverter integrates renewable generation and battery storage with the property’s three-phase electrical supply.

Low-carbon heating

The installation also supports a Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump, with the associated electrical work completed by NS Booth.

The installation

An integrated three-phase renewable energy system for a Kenilworth home.

The project brought together solar generation, battery storage and low-carbon heating within one integrated residential installation. A substantial roof-mounted solar PV array provides renewable generation for the property, while a Solis three-phase hybrid inverter manages solar production and battery charging. PureDrive modular battery storage provides additional flexibility over when generated energy is used. NS Booth also completed the electrical installation associated with the Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump system.

By combining solar generation, panel-level optimisation and substantial battery storage, the installation gives the homeowner greater flexibility over when generated electricity is used while making effective use of the available roof area.
