The installation

An 8.16kW solar and 20kWh battery installation designed around the home.

The system was designed around the available roof space across three roof faces. A total of 17 high-output LONGi solar modules provide an 8.16kW array, with Tigo optimisers used across selected modules to support performance where roof orientation and shading conditions vary. Energy management is handled by a 5kW Sigenergy inverter together with two 10kWh Sigenergy batteries, providing 20kWh of storage capacity.

By combining solar generation, panel-level optimisation and substantial battery storage, the installation gives the homeowner greater flexibility over when generated electricity is used while making effective use of the available roof area.
