Greater solar self-consumption
Battery storage allows more of the electricity generated by the solar array to be retained and used within the home.

Surplus daytime solar generation can be stored for use later when household demand is higher.
The Sigenergy platform integrates solar generation, inverter control and battery storage within one coordinated system.
Nine 530W LONGi modules provide 4.77kWp of installed solar capacity from a compact residential array.
NS Booth installed nine 530W LONGi solar panels on the available pitched roof area, providing a total solar PV capacity of 4.77kWp. The array is paired with a 5kW Sigenergy inverter and 10kWh of Sigenergy battery storage, allowing surplus solar generation to be stored for use later rather than exported immediately to the grid.
The project demonstrates how a relatively compact roof area can still support a useful renewable energy system when high-output solar modules are combined with battery storage. The Sigenergy system manages solar generation, battery charging and household energy use within one integrated platform, helping the homeowner make greater use of electricity generated on site.
